What exactly is a palm reading?​
​
Historically, we've been told to fear the occult and forms of divination by forces that want to control people. These organisations knew that there was value and power in this wisdom and tried to defame it as evil or scary. ​Palmistry is neither, it's simply a language to interpret what your hands are showing.
We already know so many ways in which mental and emotional activity is manifested onto and into our physical bodies - e.g, stress causing stomach ulcers and happiness improving our energy levels and immune system.

The hands are another physical indicator to these events that impact our lives. The lines point towards our energetic focuses / blocks.

A Guiding Hand Reading is led by the information on the hands and what the mind and body feels to be important, rather than the ego and external guidance.
Analysing them can shed light on our patterns of behaviour that go unnoticed and serve as a step towards a fulfilled version of ourselves.​​

Palmistry is unbiased, but I might have some ulterior motives:
1. Encouraging your quirks and individuality.
Growing up, I was told to make choices that guarantee security. Sound familiar? But if we're all taught to follow the same conventional path, many of us will have been lead astray by these well intentioned nuggets of advice. I want to honour your best foot forward, whether that's as a Type-A person or an oddball!Â
2. Spark your abundance mindset.
Do you remember a time when you felt so excited and curious about the world and all you could learn and achieve? Over time, our experiences and responsibilities can cloud this part of us that we're all born with. I want to reinvigorate that part of you, so you can see the world with child-like wonder.
3. Push you towards long term benefits, even if it means short term discomfort.
​ If you've been going against your own grain for a long time, you may have built conflicting habits and perspectives that need resetting. I want to highlight these in a non-judgemental and explorative way and show you that you're in control of these behaviours and you can change your life for the better.

My name is Asha and I've been reading palms for 5 years now. I've always taken an interest in the occult and tools of self discovery and development, so it's no wonder I gravitated towards palmistry. It was an accident really, as I started by reading a book on it that I was supposed to gift someone. Isn't life funny? So I got hooked on how insightful and accurate it was, even on people who I knew very little about. It helped me understand my shortcomings and gave me reassurance that I could live a good life. I wanted to bring this incredible tool to as many people as possible, so here I am! I really want to create a happier world through the art of palmistry. FAQs
Will you tell me when I'm going to die? I don't believe it is ethical or even accurate to predict a year of client's death. However, I can highlight periods of ill health as this could help you form good habits or seek medical advice, so that they might be able to live a longer, healthier and happier life.
Does anyone tell you that you've got it wrong? I can honestly say that out of the hundreds (if not thousands) of clients I've read for, perhaps 2 or 3 have said they did not resonate with the reading. None of these were online clients, which suggests my accuracy is not affected by reading photos. I do encourage all feedback, so if something doesn't align, I can suggest another interpretation as there are sometimes multiple applications of a sign.
What if there's bad news? All of my readings are delivered through a positive lens, but the palms do illustrate the highs and the lows of life. It can be empowering to know when the obstacles in your path are coming up, so that you might prepare or deal with them better. However, if there is anything at all you'd rather not discuss, I am happy to cater to this as long as I am made aware. My aim for the reading is to leave you with confidence and optimism about yourself and the future.
Should I tell you anything about myself? It's up to you how much context you want to provide. If you'd like a reading when I can relate the information to your situation straight away, more context is better. At the very least, feedback and validation is encouraged during the session for a more accurate, insightful and enjoyable experience!
Can you tell me about my family/partner? The information on the hands is mostly personal to you, but we may be able to see how those people interact with you. E.g. you might see when your loved ones support you or when you clash and we can look at the type of traits you're attracted to in a partner (people often say you've described my other half exactly).
Can you read my child or partner? The owner of the palm must be willing and want a reading for themselves. Under 18s need consent from a parent or guardian. Readings for younger persons will focus mainly on personality, strengths and weaknesses to encourage them to pursue their natural talents.
Can you predict the future? To an extent! I have had many client come back to me years later to tell me that their reading came true. But I must caveat that the predictions might not be as clear cut as you'd like. The lines are an indication of the path you've been on and your future trajectory. They can hint at certain feelings or themes you will experience at a certain age, but they will not say that exactly X, Y or Z will happen. At the same time, it's completely within your power to change course if you don't like the sound of something, in turn making the prediction false, but this will take a lot of work on your part.
How often should I get a palm reading? If you get a Guiding Hand Reading, I would say no more than one every year or two or after a big milestone. But you could get a Focused reading or short readings a few times a year, as long as the topic is different each time (your hands won't have changed much).
Do the lines change? Your hands and palms tend to change more often when you're younger and growing as you're still figuring out who you are and what you want to do. From about 28, they will become more "set" but still do have the potential to shift and change depending on how much you change your life. They show us the track we're currently on - when we change course, they change with us.
I can't see a suitable time slot - can I request a session? I do my best work from the afternoon, which is why I don't usually open up the mornings for readings. However, if you can't make any other time due to work or timezone, please get in touch via the form below and I'll make an exception when possible!
How did you learn palmistry? I started learning from books and online resources and then studied with Philena Bruce. Since then, I just keep on adding to my bank of knowledge from more literature and materials, as well as coming to my own, new interpretations from reading my clients.
Is it a gift or something you learned? I think it's a skill I learned that I'm gifted at! It's something I picked up fairly quickly and enjoyed, so I stuck with it. But I think it's a great tool because anyone can memorise the signs and interpretations and start to learn it for themselves. I don't claim to be psychic, but there is an intuitive element that might be derived from life experience or a collective consciousness that everyone has access to.
